This is probably my favourite Maccas ad that I've cut. Capturing the feel of summer in Australia was a lot of fun, but the way the art direction and song choice hints of a time passed gives it a real sense of cultural significance - a trademark that has always made McDonald's brand ads so iconic. The balancing act of having it work as both a narrative piece and almost a music video was a really different sort of challenge and one I really enjoyed.
